An installation investigating the smear of data available to me concerning the water coming out of my faucet (source, runoff, treatment, etc). The Participant is greeted by the image of a vial on the back of a display case. The vial contains water from my faucet and is labeled with the contaminants found when I had it tested at a lab. On the other side rows of identical vials lines the shelves of the display. A projection on wall prompts the participant to play an animated video. The walls are lined with information I discovered while investigating the source of my water. I removed identifying text from the data visualization; the result is a colorful abstraction that approximates significance through a poetry of symbols without index.
